ABOUT KEI 

     Hi! I'm Cadence Kelly but I prefer to go by Kei online and on animated projects. I'm a 2D animator and character designer with a B.F.A in 2D animation. I'm extremely passionate about anything having to do with characters and vis dev. I especially love character concept and character animation. 

    I'm heavily inspired by work from studios like Trigger, Science Saru, and Ghibli, and I'm particularly drawn to stories that find unique and playful ways to blend elements of ordinary life and fiction such as Wolf Children, Fooly Cooly, and Kiki's Delivery Service . I take lots of influence from 90s/2000s eastern art and animation styles. When it comes to animation, I really enjoy expressive character performance and subtle acting. Some of my favorite pastimes include doodling, playing games, walking, and reading.
